Trauma-Informed Coaching for Writers:
Nurture Your Muse

​Writing your story can set you free. But reflecting on your experiences and finding the words to capture them can feel daunting, especially if you’ve felt silenced in the past. 

​

Using a trauma-informed, motivational approach rooted in the principles of peer support, I'll help you transform your experiences into words with the power to heal. 

 

How it Works:

 

We’ll begin with a free, 20-minute discovery call over Zoom to discuss what you’re looking for and to make sure we’re a good fit. 

 

Every two weeks, you’ll share up to 1000 words (we can discuss the amount in our discovery call). On alternate weeks, we’ll meet over Zoom to talk about how the writing felt for you, emotionally and somatically, and where you got stuck, creatively and mentally. We may also discuss:

 

  • Creating a safe and healing writing practice 

  • Clarifying your vision and intent for what you’re writing

  • Understanding and working through trauma responses

  • Taking a strengths-based approach to writing 

  • Writing with compassion for yourself and your reader

 

What You’ll Get:

 

  • Writing exercises and resources

  • A creative ally and a safe place to explore writing about difficult things

  • Self-regulation tools

  • A plan for caring for yourself when you’re writing about difficult things

 

This is a good fit for you if:

 

  • You’re at any stage of writing about something personal and difficult - whether you’re ready to start or have already written 20 thousand words

  • You're able to commit to regular writing

 

This might not be for you if:

 

  • You’re looking for formal therapy or counselling

Eight week program: $1200 (payment plans available)
